Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Lay the Foundation Stone for an 800 MW Unit in Yamunanagar : Energy Minister Anil Vij

Chandigarh, Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the entire state of Haryana is prepared to welcome the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 14. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for a major 800-megawatt power unit in Yamunanagar, which will be a significant gift to the state. This plant will enhance electricity production in Haryana and provide uninterrupted power supply to the people.
He was addressing a meeting with BJP office bearers today at the Public Works Rest House in Ambala Cantonment in the presence of Development and Panchayats Minister Krishan Lal Panwar.
On this occasion, Sh.Vij also highlighted the Prime Minister’s Surya Ghar Yojana, under which a subsidy of up to ₹1,10,000 is being provided for installing solar panels under the 2-kilowatt category. He urged that more people in Ambala Cantonment should take advantage of this scheme and install solar panels on their rooftops. Similarly, a subsidy is also provided for installing solar panels on tube wells under the 10-kilowatt category, and a large number of such panels have already been installed. This scheme is providing significant benefits to farmers as well.
Energy Minister Anil Vij emphasized that Ambala always ranks number one in every area. Whatever responsibilities and duties the party entrusts him with, he fulfills them successfully – all thanks to the strength of the party workers. He said, “My politics is about development, work, and our workers.” He added that 40 buses will depart from Ambala Cantonment for Yamunanagar, and a commander should be appointed for each bus. All buses must depart for Yamunanagar on time, where all necessary arrangements have been made.
Similarly, Development and Panchayats Minister Krishan Lal Panwar said that on April 14, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of an 800 MW unit to be constructed at a cost of ₹7,272 crore in Yamunanagar. Panwar noted that on the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, Prime Minister Modi will visit Yamunanagar. There is a great deal of excitement and enthusiasm among the people regarding the Prime Minister’s arrival. People are eager to give him a grand welcome. On this occasion, he extended an invitation to all party workers and BJP officials to attend the event in Yamunanagar on April 14.
He urged all workers to bring as many people as possible with them to Yamunanagar. He also mentioned that more than 40 buses will depart from Ambala Cantonment to Yamunanagar. Arrangements for drinking water and refreshments on the buses are being made by the administration. Everyone is requested to arrive on time for the program.
