Officials should promptly executive projects requiring land – Chief Secretary

  • Reviewed 80 pending Chief Minister announcements of four departments
  • It is the officer’s responsibility to implement the CM announcements

 

Chandigarh- Haryana Chief Secretary Sh Sanjeev Kaushal emphasized the timely completion of land-related formalities for development projects announced by the Chief Minister so as to ensure the swift implementation of these development initiatives.

        The Chief Secretary was presiding over the review meeting of the pending Chief Minister’s announcements here today. Additional Chief Secretary of Finance and Planning, Anurag Rastogi, Additional Chief Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. G. Anupama, and many senior officers were also present in the meeting. Deputy Commissioners from all districts joined the meeting online.

        During the meeting, the Chief Secretary meticulously reviewed over 80 pending announcements, including 21 from the Public Works Department, 41 from the Health Department, and 18 from the Urban Local Bodies Department. He urged district officers to expedite all tasks related to land registry, DPR, and project outlines within a month, fostering a positive mindset to swiftly conclude all pending schemes. He stressed that the responsibility lies with officials to implement the Chief Minister’s announcements promptly, ensuring the public receives their benefits in a timely manner.

        To accelerate the completion of these schemes, the Chief Secretary asked the officers to seek help from the public representatives of the respective districts. In addition, rapid action should be taken to build new health centers to replace the damaged health centers of the Health Department for which additional land is not available.

        The Chief Secretary directed immediate action on various infrastructure projects across the state. These include the construction of a railway underpass and pathway under bridge in Faridabad, a four-lane road from Ballabhgarh to village Khori, a double flyover at Ballabhgarh on Sohna Road, and the widening of the road from Data to Lohari Ragho in Hisar. He also directed the speedy completion of several other projects, including the construction of a bypass at Beri, a four-lane road from Badli to Indira Gandhi International Airport, bypasses at Chhuchhakwas, Uchana, Pinangwa, and Punhana, a road from Jamuwas to Kalarpur road, a rest house in Ghira, the connecting of the bridge being built on the Yamuna River in Hasanpur of Palwal, to connect NH-44 to NH-334B in Sonipat, and the construction of the Dr. Mangalsen Memorial Building in Rohtak, new buildings of the Municipal Council Sirsa and Rewari, the construction of the Shaheed Ajmer Singh Library in Samalkha, the construction of the Mata Savitri Bai Jyotiba Phule Hostel, Library, Museum, Research Center, and Cultural Center in Kurukshetra, and the construction of the Hodal bus stand.
