MWWB legal cell will provide free legal aid to journalists – Ashok Kaushik
Chandigarh, (Rana). National President of Media Wellbeing Association North India Chandrashekhar Dharani, Treasurer Taran Kapoor and Joint Secretary Pawan Chopra gave a check of Rs 1 lakh to Anil Kumar, senior journalist of Ambala of the association. Anil Kumar has been unwell for a long time! Those who will undergo kidney transplant and also undergo dialysis three times a week. Apart from this, Anil Mohania, a journalist of Nuhu district, has been given Rs 30 thousand and Rewari journalist Narendra’s wife has been given Rs 25 thousand for major surgery. Even before this, financial assistance of about Rs 8 lakh has been provided by the organization to other journalist friends from time to time. Treasurer of the organization, Taran Kapoor said that on behalf of the Media Wellbeeg organization, to provide free legal aid to the journalists of Haryana. A legal cell has also been formed. The Chairman of the Legal Cell is Advocate Ashok Kaushik (Panipat). Naveen Jaglan, Sushil Kaushik of Punjab and Haryana High Court are also included in this legal cell. Apart from this, advocates Sukhwinder Nara, Jagdeep Ghanghas, Sanjeev etc. have also been included in the legal cell. The main objective of forming the legal cell is to provide legal advice to journalist colleagues in case they face any problem.
MWB Legal Cell Chairman Ashok Kaushik said that his 11-member legal cell provides all kinds of free legal help to journalists in Haryana.
Treasurer of Media Wellbeing Association, Taran Kapoor said that the state level program of the organization will be held at Mag Pai (Haryana Tourism) on Thursday, January 11. In which the chief guest was Haryana’s Transport, Higher Education and Mining Minister Mr. Mool Chand Sharma, Chairman of the function – Minister of State in Haryana Government – Sandeep Singh, Special invited guest – Former Minister Vipul Goyal, Special guest in the program Mr. Nayanpal Rawat (MLA), Mr. Mati Seema Trikha (MLA), keynote speaker Mr. Rajeev Jaitley (Media Advisor CM Haryana), Mr. Sudesh Kataria (Chief Media Coordinator, Haryana Government, Chandigarh), Mr. Praveen Atreya (Media Secretary, Haryana Government) and Gyanendra Bharataria, senior journalist, Must be Delhi.
