Traffic police team issued challans to 95 drivers under the campaign

Kurukshetra,(Rana). To ensure road safety, District Police Kurukshetra launched a campaign against drivers violating lane driving rules on 19 March 2024. Under the special campaign on Tuesday , challans were issued against 95 drivers who violated lane driving rules .
Giving information, traffic in-charge highway inspector Sukhdev Singh said that as per the orders of Inspector General of Police Highways and Traffic Haryana Karnal Mr. Hardeep Singh Doon and Inspector General of Police Ambala Division Ambala Shivas Kaviraj, a special campaign was conducted by the district police on 19 March 2024. He said that a special campaign was launched by District Police Kurukshetra under the guidance of Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra, Shri Surendra Singh Bhoria to ensure road safety , smooth running of vehicles and to determine boy driving lanes for vehicles. Orders were given by the Superintendent of Police to the police officers/employees to strictly enforce traffic rules to ensure road safety. Under the Motor Vehicles Act- 2017 , a total of 95 drivers were issued challans on March 19, 2024 for violating rules by not driving in their designated lane.
Drivers are also being made aware about traffic rules.
Giving information, the police spokesperson said that as per the orders of Superintendent of Police Surendra Singh Bhoria, drivers are being given information about traffic rules. At different places, policemen are staying among the common people and giving information about traffic rules. The general public is being made aware about traffic rules by visiting bus stands , auto stands, truck unions and educational institutions. Still, if any driver violates traffic rules, action is being taken against him under the Motor Vehicles Act. Such campaigns will continue in future also.
