Golden opportunity for the youth of Haryana to serve in the Indian Air Force as Agniveervayu
Online registration from July 27 to August 17, 2023
Online examination to be held from October 13, 2023 onwards
Chandigarh – The Indian Air Force has invited online applications from the eligible youth (unmarried male and female) of Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Union Territory of Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for selection test for AGNIVEERVAYU intake under the Central Government’s Agnipath scheme.
In a letter addressed to Chief Secretary, Haryana, Wing Commander SVG Reddy, Commanding Officer, Air Force Recruitment Selection Centre-1, Ambala Cantonment informed that the online registration for Agniveervayu intake 01/2024 would be done from July 27, 2023 to August 17, 2023 and online examinations would commence from October 13, 2023 onwards. The date of birth of the candidate should be between June 27, 2003 and December 27, 2006 (both dates inclusive). The candidates are required to deposit Rs 250 as registration and examination fee. Registration could also be done on the web portal https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
Giving details about the educational qualification, he said that for science subjects, the candidate should have passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from Education Boards recognised by Central Government, State Government and UT with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English or passed three years diploma course in engineering from recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50 percent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English in diploma course (or in intermediate/matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course) or passed two years vocational course with non-vocational subject (Physics and Mathematics) from recognized Education Boards with 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English in the vocational course, (or in intermediate/matriculation, if English is not a subject in vocational Course).
He further said that for other than science subjects, the candidate should have passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination in any stream/subjects from recognized education Boards with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent in English or passed two years vocational course from recognized education Boards with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English in vocational course (or in intermediate/matriculation, if English is not a subject in vocational Course).
