Kurukshetra,(Rana) . Mahayagya was organized in the courtyard of Shri Lakshminarayan Temple of Lukhi village. This Mahayagya started from 9th March and continued till 19th March. In this Yagya, which was conducted under the guidance of Jagatguru Tripura Peethadhishwar Chakraborty Yagya Samrat Pracharak Sri Sri 1008 Hariom Maharaj, Havan Yagya started from 6 am every day and Srimad Bhagwat Katha was recited in the afternoon. Gods are pleased with the Yagya. Hariom Ji Maharaj said that when the idea of creation of the universe came to Lord Brahma’s mind, he first performed the Yagya, then the creation began. He told that by doing good deeds in Mahayagya, the reward increases manifold.
Yagya pleases the gods
While singing the praises of Lord Shiva, Hariom Maharaj said, Shankar, the river Ganga flows in your hair, I have controlled my mind, I have taken your name, Om Namah Shivay, Om Namah Shivay: If the Yagya is performed then it will be beneficial for everyone. He requested the devotees and said that we must perform Prati Havan Yagya daily. Maha Aarti was performed after 7 pm. During this time, the entire Lukhi village looked devotional. Apart from the villagers, hundreds of devotees from other districts participated enthusiastically in the grand Maha Aarti. The Yagya was completed with the offerings of Bhandara. Chief host Rahul Rana honored the visiting saints and guests by giving them flowers, garlands and statues. The evening Maha Aarti was the center of attraction.
