Chief Minister’s personal secretary Abhimanyu said that the teachings of Lord Shri Krishna are in the holy book Geeta, which is very important for humans, which is very important for every human being to know. Srimad Bhagavad Gita is currently attracting the attention of people not only in India but also abroad for its philosophical approach towards life rather than religion. Geeta’s message of selfless action is also attracting all the Geeta lovers of the world. The holy book Geeta is among the most famous books of all the religions of the world.

Chief Minister’s personal secretary Abhimanyu was speaking as the chief guest in the Geeta Maha Aarti program of the festival at Brahmasarovar Purushottampura Bagh late evening on Sunday. Before this, Chief Minister’s Private Secretary Abhimanyu, Additional Deputy Commissioner and KDB CEO Akhil Pilani, KDB Honorary Secretary Upendra Singhal, Kurukshetra 48 Kos Teerth Monitoring Committee Chairman Madan Mohan Chhabra, KDB member Ashok Rosha, Dr. Rishipal Mathana, Captain Amarjeet Singh, Dr. MK Moudgil, Vijay Narula and other dignitaries performed aarti and worship of Brahmasarovar on the International Geeta Mahotsav and also formally inaugurated the aarti by lighting the lamp. This Aarti was praised by Pandit Balram Gautam, Pandit Somnath Sharma, Gopal Krishna Gautam, Anil and Rudra. After this Maha Aarti, excellent cultural programs were presented by the North Zone Cultural Arts Center, Patiala in the evening program at Purushottampura Bagh. Everyone has appreciated the folk culture, folk art, music and tunes of musical instruments of different states in these presentations.

Chief Minister’s personal secretary Abhimanyu said that 5160 years ago Lord Shri Krishna preached Geeta on the land of Kurukshetra and Maharishi Ved Vyas revealed the holy book Geeta. Srimad Bhagavad Gita is one of the holiest scriptures of Hindus. According to Mahabharata, Lord Shri Krishna had narrated the message of Geeta to Arjun during the Kurukshetra war. Monotheism, Karma Yoga, Gyan Yoga, Bhakti Yoga have been explained very beautifully in Bhagwat Geeta. The teachings of the holy book Geeta even today reveal the secrets of our life, today’s man remains trapped in the illusion of life. Only the knowledge of Bhagavad Gita can free us from the bondage of worldly attachments. Only knowledge of Geeta gives an opportunity to recognize oneself and the Almighty God. At the end of this program, all the guests and officers and employees of KDB were honored by KDB by giving them clothes. On this occasion, NJDCC officials Rajesh Bassi, Jarnail Singh, Radheshyam and other officials were present.
