Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway will give a boost to the industrial sector, which will bring change in the lives of common people. The belt along the expressway includes Sirsa in Haryana, Bathinda in Punjab, Hanumangarh district in Rajasthan, which is famous for cotton. Gujarat also has more cotton, so the cotton industry will also get a boost here. The above information was given by Haryana Bureau of Public Enterprises Chairman Subhash Barala during a conversation with journalists during inspection of Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway as well as other development projects in Dabwali on Thursday.

 

He told that this inspection was done under Vikas Teerth Yatra. He said that the nine years tenure of the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been full of achievements. The public welfare schemes and policies of the government have brought changes in the lives of the people.

Subhash Barala said that the construction of roads is not limited to connectivity from one place to another, rather the aim of the government is to bring about a change in the lives of the people of the area through roads. Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway will prove to be a mill stone in this direction. He said that this expressway would pass through Dabwali, which would give a boost to the industrial area here. The entire belt of the expressway from Amritsar to Gujarat is famous for cotton. Therefore, along with the cotton industries in Dabwali, steel and other industries already established here will also get strengthened. He said that the government has stepped up efforts to improve the road system in Haryana. Now preparations are on to construct a four-lane road of about 300 km distance from Dabwali to Panipat, the last end of Sirsa district. Expressway will be built from Dabwali to Panipat. This road construction work will be done under the Bharatmala project.

He said that Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway will be connected to Kandla Port in Gujarat, this will increase the import and export of various products. The proximity of several refineries and thermal power plants along the expressway will significantly boost industrialization, corporate expansion and socioeconomic development of the area. He said that this greenfield corridor is also important from tourism and economic point of view. This expressway will pass through 15 districts of Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat and Rajasthan, due to which it will prove to be an industrial millstone in the area adjacent to it.

Talking about the achievements of the Central Government in the last nine years, Chairman Barala said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is on the path of development and India has become recognized all over the world. He said that the public welfare schemes of the Center have directly benefited the common people, due to which their standard of living has been raised. Along with this, the country has become strong and self-reliant in terms of security. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the state government is working for the welfare of the people. The eligible people are getting direct benefits of the schemes in a transparent and easy manner.
