The entire bank of Brahmasarovar lit up with the light of these lamps and a beautiful sight appeared.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal, while congratulating the people of the state on the Deepotsav and Jayanti celebrations, said that this celebration of Geeta Jayanti in Dharmakshetra Kurukshetra was very amazing due to the Deepotsav and the view of not only Brahmasarovar but Kurukshetra looked amazing due to the garland of thousands of lamps. Lord Shri Krishna gave such a message of peace in the midst of the Mahabharata war on the land of Kurukshetra, which today is illuminating the whole world in the name of Geeta Upadesh. The essence of living life has been described in this holy book Geeta. Giving the message of peace amidst this Mahabharata has not been seen in any history. He said that the programs of the festival were taken to the country and abroad through the online system. Saint Conference, Global Geeta Recitation and Deepotsav were the best programs of this Mahotsav.
He said that the administration has done a commendable job by organizing all the programs of the 8th International Geeta Mahotsav in a good manner from 7th December and ensuring the participation of social organizations of the city and in the coming times, with the cooperation of the organizations of the city, the Mahotsav will be made more memorable. The light emanating from these green fireworks colored the atmosphere of Brahmasarovar. In this festival, Saras, Crafts Fair and cultural programs of the main stage will continue till 24th December.
