A grand memorial of Saint Shiromani Guru Ravidas will be built on the holy land of Dharmakshetra-Kurukshetra at a cost of Rs 25 crore: Naib
Kurukshetra, (Rana). Haryana’s newly appointed Chief Minister Nayab Singh laid the foundation stone with Bhoomi Pujan of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Memorial to be built on 5.39 acres of land at Umri Road, Kurukshetra in the presence of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal. The construction work of this memorial will be completed at a cost of approximately Rs 25 crore.
Former Chief Minister Manohar Lal, while addressing the gathering present on the occasion of Bhoomi Pujan of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Memorial, said that in August 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone of a huge temple of Guru Ravidas Ji in Madhya Pradesh. Seeing this grand structure being built, the idea of building a similar memorial of Guru Ravidas in Haryana state came to his mind so that the new generation could continue to get inspiration from the saints. For this, while being the Chief Minister, he had announced the construction of Guru Ravidas Ji’s building on 5 acres of land in Kurukshetra and today the foundation stone of its construction has been laid. It will be constructed by Haryana Urban Development Authority.
Paying tribute to Guru Ravidas, Manohar Lal said that while being the Chief Minister, he has implemented many welfare schemes by taking initiatives towards the upliftment of the poor, youth, women power and farmers of the state. I have full confidence that now Chief Minister Naib Singh will continuously work to take these schemes forward. He requested the citizens to contribute to the progress of Haryana and strengthen the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing the program, Chief Minister Nayab Singh said that the idea of building a grand building of Saint Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji on the land of Lord Shri Krishna was the idea of former Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal, which is taking shape today. He said that in the coming times, the policies and schemes implemented by Manohar Lal, whose benefits are being availed by the citizens of Haryana today, will reach every home in the country. Referring to Satguru Ravidas Ji Maharaj’s verse “Aisa chahoon raj main, jahan mile sab ko anna, chhot big sab saang base raidas rahe prasanna”, Chief Minister Nayab Singh said that the work of implementing his words has been going on for the last 9 and a half years.
Manohar Lal did it. During the tenure of Manohar Lal, the benefits of government schemes have reached even the poorest of the poor. In the last 9 and a half years, he made such schemes as a result of which more than 12 lakh poor families have come out of the poverty line. With the blessings of all of you, we will work to carry forward the path of all-round development of the state shown by Shri Manohar Lal.
Chief Minister Naib Singh said that as a result of the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Chief Minister Manohar Lal, there is a one-sided atmosphere in Haryana state today. In the coming elections, the people of Haryana will work to make lotus bloom on 10 out of 10 Lok Sabha seats.
